The Danish Colorectal Cancer Group (DCCG) is a Danish professional organisation focused on improving the diagnosis, treatment, and research of colorectal cancer. It brings together healthcare specialists from multiple disciplines to develop clinical guidelines, maintain national databases, support research projects, and share knowledge to enhance patient outcomes and quality of care in Denmark.
The databased was established in 2001, with an initial focus on patients undergoing surgery. In 2006, the database expanded to non-surgical patients, with the participation of surgeons, oncologists, radiologists and pathologists.
